Exhibition Grade Mk10-1

Exhibition Grade knives are a new line of knives that slot in above the Elite models.  Elite MkXs have amazing finishes, the highest quality materials, but ultimately still have standard components like backspacers and pocket clips, as well as standard blade shapes and other features.  Exhibition Grade knives feature one-off custom fabrication in addition to extremely rare and exotic materials along with the highest quality workmanship I can possibly offer in a knife.  In short, EG knives are the highest end knives I make with custom features you will never find on another MkX.  Period.

This particular Exhibition Grade Mk10 features semi-polished CPM-20CV for it's swedged tanto blade.  The blade's flipper tab is inlaid on its' spine with Moonglow.  It features a polished and lapped pivot interface with ceramic bearings, a polished pivot and carbide locking surface, plus bearing ramp to prevent damage to the bearing during closure.  The edge is hand polished and it comes to an extra fine thickness behind the edge.

The frame is satin finished bronze anodized billet titanium with internal jeweling.  Scales are made of extremely rare custom white C-tek, topped off with all titanium screws and hardware.  Two features that elevate this knife to an EG are the spacer and the pocket clip, both of which are hand fabricated out of billet Nichols Boomerang Moku-Ti.  The pocket clip is a custom shape, and the spacer features an extended skull crusher, heavy chamfering and internal scallops for decoration.

While this is the first EG MkX, I only plan on making one or two of these a year, so they will be extremely rare.  They will come with a COA in a signed Pelican hardcase denoting that they truly are a EG MkX.
